Recipient of “Distinguished Young Professor Award for Excellence in Research” at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (2010)

Member of the UN body Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change that was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize (2007)

Commemoration by the Prime Minister of India for outstanding contributions to climate change research (2007)
