Mr. Shahane is responsible for new projects, ventures and M&A for TIL in the areas of manufacturing, automation, robotics, engineering technology. Handling assignment as Director for Tata Advance Materials Ltd. for manufacture of Composites and other materials for applications in Aerospace, Defense, Medical and Industry.

Prior to that, he was the MD and CEO of Drive India Enterprise Solutions Ltd.(DIESL). He has had a long and distinguished career in the engineering products and services companies.

He had done his graduation from IIT Bombay, and then went on to complete his M.S. from Syracuse University, NY. He is also an alum of IIM, Ahmedabad, 1990 batch.
