Professor Shailesh Gandhi offers courses in Accounting, Costing, Management Control and Organisational Performance Management System in all long duration programmes of IIM, Ahmedabad. He has designed and conducted customised Executive Education Programmes in various countries like China, Dubai, Egypt, Kenya, Kuwait, South Africa, and Thailand apart from India.

 He is a member of the Cost Accounting Standards Board of Institute of Cost Accountants of India since 2008-09. He held the position of the Chairperson, Post Graudate Programme for Executives (PGPX) during 2009-10 and 2010-11. He had started his career as a Manager at AF Ferguson & Co, Baroda.

He has done his B.E. (Chemical Engineering) from Dharmsinh Desai University, where he was awarded the Gold medal, and his Ph. D. from IIM, Ahmedabad in Finance and Accounting.
