Karthik strongly believes in the power and potential of an excellent education for all children, schools, families and the future of India. He is currently serving as the City Director, India Operations, Teach for India.
Prior to his 2-year fellowship of being a class teacher for 44 students at an affordable private school in the old city Karwan area of Hyderabad, Karthik was on a fast-track management consulting career path with the Deloitte U.S firms. For 5 years, he worked with the senior leadership of over a dozen global Fortune 500 firms providing data-driven strategic business advisory and implementation support on large – scale transformation projects. 
Karthik completed his undergraduate (B.S – Honors) from Rutgers University where he was a James J Slade Scholar. A social – enterprise researcher at heart, he wrote M.S thesis on business models for low-income communities graduating with an M.S degree (with $80,000 worth scholarship) from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Additionally, he completed Summer Institute for General Management from Stanford GSB and Social Entrepreneurship Accelerator training from Teach For All.
