Manish Chawla is the GM, Global Industrial Products at IBM since January 2016. He has been instrumental in leading IBM's global business for Resources (metals, mining, paper, etc.), Construction and Industrial Machinery. This includes shaping the portfolio of solutions, services and products to dovetail with key market trends, client needs and the IBM corporate strategy including a sharp focus on Cognitive Internet of Things. He has built a global, tightly networked team across IBM's BUs and geographies to in order to grow IBM's market eminence and brand positioning in each of these segments. Priot to IBM, Mr. Chawla worked in BearingPoint and KPMG. He had started off his career as a consultant in Accentureon 1996.He is an alumni of IIM, Ahmedabad with an MBA in Information Systems, Operations Management1994 – 1996. He has a B.E. in Computer Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering.
